UCOR, is a partnership of Amentum, Jacobs, and Honeywell, working under contract with the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management. Under this contract, UCOR safely deactivates and demolishes former nuclear facilities. As the lead cleanup contractor for DOE’s Oak Ridge Reservation, we have earned a reputation for safe performance, innovative problem solving, and an unwavering focus on excellence. Our workforce of more than 2,200 is committed to the mission of protecting the people, the community, and the environment while eliminating hazards and reducing risks. UCOR’s leadership team brings together individuals with vast experience in the engineering and environmental industries, including experience working in the DOE complex.

The UCOR partnership combines the talents of three global program management companies. Our small business partners include RSI EnTech, LLC, Strata-G, LLC, Longenecker & Associates, Inc., and Environmental Alternatives, Inc. – all firms with previous Oak Ridge Reservation environmental cleanup experience and a proven track record of delivering strong performance.

Safety Fest TN

Safety Fest TN provides a week of free safety and health training annually in Oak Ridge, and Knoxville, Tennessee, and is dedicated to the mission of making the region the safest place to work and live in the United States. The classes, demonstrations, and sessions are free to all who register to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn safety and health skills.

The event will be held April 29 – May 3, 2024, at multiple locations in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the combined efforts small and large businesses; local, state, and federal agencies; colleges and universities; and non-profit organizations.

Safety Fest TN is coming back for 2024! In its last year (2019), Safety Fest TN had some amazing numbers: 1,487 attendees registered, representing 268 organizations in 135 cities and 23 states. They registered for 3,344 training seats in 127 classes, sessions, and demonstrations which were presented at 9 locations over 5 days by 134 instructors, presenters, and speakers supported by 140 sponsor/provider organizations. Your organization can partner, sponsor, or provide resources too – showing your commitment to safety at work, at home, and in the community!
