Safety Fest TN welcomes the City of Oak Ridge as Partner, Sponsor and Provider!

Thank you City of Oak Ridge!

The City of Oak Ridge not only sponsors Safety Fest TN, they participate in planning committee meetings and provide instructors for the free safety training. Over 80 free safety classes, sessions and demonstrations are planned for this year’s event. The City will also provide a team of firefighters to staff the Secret City Fire Officer Conference, which takes place during Safety Fest TN on Wednesday and Thursday, September 14th and 15th. That conference will explore new ways that fire departments across East Tennessee and the rest of the state can be more effective in their mission to protect and save lives. And, scheduled to make its first appearance, the City played the critical role in bringing, the Tennessee Fire Service and Codes Academy’s Emergency Vehicle Driving Simulator to Safety Fest TN. This state-of-the art simulator creates real-world experiences that enable drivers to hone their skills within a variety of challenging situations, without the risk attached to a mistake made on the streets.

The City of Oak Ridge is proud to be a partner, sponsor and provider for Safety Fest TN as we work to make our communities healthier and safer.”    Oak Ridge City Manager Mark Watson
