Knox County is a county in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2020 census, the population is 476,971 making it the third largest county in the state. Its county seat and largest city is Knoxville. The county is at the geographical center of the Great Valley of East Tennessee. Near the heart of the county is the origin of the Tennessee River at the union of the Holston and French Broad Rivers.
Safety Fest TN
Safety Fest TN provides a week of free safety and health training annually in Oak Ridge, and Knoxville, Tennessee, and is dedicated to the mission of making the region the safest place to work and live in the United States. The classes, demonstrations, expo, and sessions are free to all who register to give everyone the opportunity to learn safety and health skills.
The event will be held April 29 – May 3, 2024 at multiple locations in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the combined efforts small and large businesses; local, state, and federal agencies; colleges and universities; and non-profit organizations.
