With the help of over 100 sponsors, providers, and partners, Safety Fest TN is making possible the implausible – a week of free environment, safety, and health classes, sessions, and demonstrations! Dozens of volunteers work hard to pull off the event which attracts people from over twenty states, more than one hundred cities, and hundreds of organizations.
The event will be held April 29 – May 3, 2024 at multiple locations in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, TN. The Community Safety Forum, Safety Expo, and numerous demonstrations of advanced safety technology will kick-off the event at Y-12 National Security Complex’s New Hope Center. It is the combined efforts small and large businesses; local, state, and federal agencies; colleges and universities; and non-profit organizations.

In its last year (2019), Safety Fest TN had some amazing numbers: 1,487 attendees registered, representing 268 organizations in 135 cities and 23 states. They registered for 3,344 training seats in 127 classes, sessions, and demonstrations which were presented at 9 locations over 5 days by 134 instructors, presenters, and speakers supported by 140 sponsor/provider organizations.
