Throwing it back today to recognize Larry Hunt, longtime workforce leader and Assistant Commissioner with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development! Over the years, Larry has dedicated himself to improving workplace safety and empowering others through knowledge. Now, he’s back at Safety Fest Tennessee, teaching again this year and sharing his expertise, experience, and passion for workforce development with the next generation with a presentation titled, “TOSHA Fatality Review.”
Whether mentoring new professionals, leading trainings, or bringing real-world Tennessee workforce insights to life, Larry continues to make an impact that lasts well beyond the seminar room.

Safety Fest TN is the combined efforts of large and small businesses; colleges, universities, and technical institutions; trade and labor unions; federal, state, and local agencies; and non-profit organizations that come together to promote safety and health at work, at home, and in the community. The annual event provides a week of free safety and health training annually in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee, and is dedicated to the mission of making the region the safest place to work and live in the United States.
