Founded in New Mexico in 1976, LATA provides technical and project management services to a varied clientèle including federal agencies, state governments, municipalities, and a broad range of private sector industrial clients. In the 1970s, the company’s core business focused on the design, installation and operation of highly specialized systems and processes for Special Nuclear Materials handling. LATA then expanded throughout the 1980s into communication systems design and test for defense applications, and in the early 1990s into the environmental services arena, performing some of the most challenging Superfund site remediation efforts in the country as well as some of the most challenging site and facility closure projects in the nation’s Nuclear Weapons Complex.
Safety Fest TN
Safety Fest TN will be held September 10 – 14, 2018 at multiple locations in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, TN. The event is the combined efforts small and large businesses; federal, state and local agencies; and non-profit organizations.
Last year’s event included 103 free safety classes, sessions, and demonstrations. The 77 instructors and presenters were graciously provided by organizations, just like yours, giving back to the community. Your organization can partner, sponsor or provide resources too – showing commitment to safety at work, at home, and in the community!
