“Defensive/ Distracted Driving“, will be taught by Gary Roberts on Tuesday, September 9, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Room E1.C02, New Hope Center. The purpose of this class is to teach drivers to focus on the task of driving and avoid distractions such as texting and reading. It also points out distractions that are not always obvious to the nonprofessional driver. Upon successful completion of the class you may be able to get a reduced rate on your insurance. The lesson will require a passing score on an exam to receive credit for the class.
“Behavioral/ Consequence Based Safety“, will be taught by Gary Roberts on Tuesday, September 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room E1.C02, New Hope Center. This lesson plan based on one of the Tennessee Safety Congress’ favorite workshops, covers both safe and at-risk behavior observations.
